A stylish brochure with a fold out cover to suit a vintage range for the John Lewis Partnership. An uncoated stock was used to create a rustic, select feel with our waterless cmyk colour process delivering beautiful imagery throughout.

G Plan Vintage Brochure

On this project we worked closely with the client on the pre-press/studio input, in order to maximise the visual detail and colour of the product. This enabled a stunning press output which helped our client increase product sales as a result.

Orca Bay – Shoe Catalogue

A typically diverse and varied project, which included printing, finishing and in-house assembly. Our comprehensive die-cutting, glueing, hand-finishing and wire-binding facilities gave us total control over the quality and outcomes, resulting in a great product delivered smoothly and on time.

South East Water – Count me in…

A beautifully designed and eclectic piece which was a challenge and a pleasure to bring together. This 32pp self-cover brochure was printed on our house FSC® offset mix credit stock. The four, double page spread, grid line ups at the back, were demanding on our Finishing department, but it all fitted together and resulted in a well made piece.

Port Elliot Festival Guide

For a sophisticated and premium finish, this elegant brochure was printed and silk sealed on a 100% post-consumer waste content silk stock. However, with such a large volume to print we were also looking for a way to make the job more economical for our client. The choice of PUR binding offered great value for money whilst also being a durable option.

National Trust – Picture Frames at Ham House Brochure

Our client wanted to create a natural and wholesome feel for this brochure, for which we used an eco-kraft board for the cover. We printed with two spot colours, with the text printed cmyk onto a FSC® 100% post-consumer waste content offset. The result was a pleasingly tactile piece via an environmentally sound and cost-effective process.

National Trust – Holidays

A striking offset brochure with an 8pp centre spread fold out, that needed to be precisely colour matched to both sides of the sheet. The delicate cmyk tint laying throughout benefitted from our ability to hold a plate dot below 1%. Additionally, our heavy ink carriage ability delivers a wider cmyk gamut than is available with conventional litho.

Institute of Physics Publishing – Nanotechnology Brochure

We handled this project from start to finish, right down to the international delivery of the finished piece. Our client required a 48pp self-cover clothing catalogue, printed hi-pigment cmyk on a FSC® mix credit offset. Our finishing and fulfilment team folded, gathered and saddle-stitched the printed piece, which was subsequently ink-jetted on the back cover for individual mailing and despatched to UK and Overseas addresses in volume. Another project with complete production, fulfilment and mailing despatch controlled under our roof.

Finisterre – Winter Catalogue

The choice of Eco-Kraft two sided board (kraft outer/ coated white inner) for the cover, enabled the designer to include white hot-foiling to the outer, with bold bursts of bright solid orange to the inner cover and through the text. This has created a strong visual impact and a memorable piece of print.

Moon Design & Build Brochure

It was great to see the strength of our blacks being put to great use by the designer here - showing confidence that we would achieve the quality desired and resulting in a striking contrast to the landscape and product photography.

Noble Isle Toiletries Brochure

Another opportunity to utilise the colour vibrancy and image clarity delivered by our waterless process. Every photographic file was examined and adjusted by our Studio, to maximise sharpness, colour and mid-tone balance. The result is a stunning collection of images, that are printed on a FSC® 100% post-consumer waste content stock, to a standard that might be expected on a coated paper.

National Trust – The Outdoors Guide Book

Our client challenged us with an interesting choice of premium white offset for the brochure and a vibrant green offset for the insert. We then had to precisely colour match the green insert colour throughout the brochure. We mix all our own inks, which helps in these situations to ensure colour integrity.

The Headland Spa Brochure and Insert

This high-end brochure lent itself to some delicate touches. Firstly, our client chose a ripple texture white cover stock, which we flood coated in a cool solid grey and printed cmyk inside. We then silver foil embossed to the outside front and clear gloss hot-foiled to the inside back cover, in register on all the colour range references. The brochure was subsequently thread-sewn bound, to be relaxed when open. A meticulously crafted and finely finished result.

William Holland Brochure

We worked closely with our client to re-design and overhaul their original plans for this prospectus, in order to maximise the potential of the piece. We chose strong colours for a fresh contemporary look and soft touch lamination and silver hot-foil to give the print a quality feel.

Westonbirt School – School Prospectuses

This piece was printed purely on a coated stock, which we work with on a regular basis as well as uncoated stock. A neatly put together and important document for our client, the quality and feel of the stock was well received by all.

Safety Matters – First Trans-Pennine Express Brochure

This client came to Park Lane having been disappointed with previous catalogues that had been printed conventionally elsewhere. Unfortunately they had dull, flat images and poor colour rendition in relation to the actual clothes. Our rich-pigment alternative cmyk solution solved this problem and the results were highly regarded by our client and their customers too.

Lily and Me Clothing Catalogue

This was a simple but effective photo mount card. Our client requested an easy to remove photo window, that could be cleanly detached even by a young person. We recommended die-cut corners and a micro-perfed window circumference, which proved successful whilst also durable and cost-effective at the same time.

Forestry Commission England – Gruffalo Photo Mount

Not your average format, this was an interesting and unusual 12pp, A5 portrait, concertina folded brochure. This was delivered by joining two 6pp documents together to make one continuous strip 210mm x 888mm when opened flat.

Hope & Homes for Children – Annual Review

This client was very much interested in the environmental benefits of our waterless litho process and the many accreditations it had won. This tied in well with their natural ethos and we were able to create an environmentally sound A5 portrait brochure displaying their full range of natural clay-based plasters and finishes.

Clayworks 2016 Brochure

This annual fund-raising brochure, with a silk cover and uncoated text inset, gives a smart and neat image to a worthy cause. The cover is soft touch laminated, silver hot-foiled and has a die-cut window - all details which added a special touch. The first page of text has a micro-perforation, enabling it to be torn out, so that a printed decoration on page three accurately aligns in the cover window.

Bloodwise – Christmas with the Stars Brochure

This beguiling piece was printed with four colours and silk sealed throughout. We then soft touch laminated the cover, which was spot gloss uv coated and hot-foiled in gold, giving a luxurious feel and stunning look.

Masquerade Brochure

These donation envelopes were a colourful piece to work on and required the services of our finishing team to deliver the end result. Printed using our four colour waterless process, then die-cut, creased and subsequently machine assembled, the envelopes were glued together and re-moist gummed ready for use.

Bloodwise – Donation Mailing Envelopes

Part of a suite of legal practice printed collateral, these three brochures were produced on FSC® uncoated offset stock thought. As a unique and unusual touch we soft-touch laminated the outside covers, creating an interesting classy finish.

Novum Law Brochures

The marketing materials for this artisan coffee company, required the same level of craftsmanship in the print process as they put into making their beans. The original handsome cover design incorporated bright copper hot-foiled title text, with CMYK printed throughout on uncoated stock. The burst of vibrant colour pictures peppered throughout the text, contrasts well with the muted soft cream and ivory page spreads.

Union Hand-Roasted Coffee

The wonderful natural feel of the FSC® 100% post-consumer waste content stock we used for this piece worked perfectly with breathtaking visuals of the great outdoors. Our waterless printer delivered vibrant and sharp images, creating an alluring and enticing brochure fit for beautiful Dorset.

Dorset – From the Country to the Coast Brochure

We were tasked to create a piece of print which had a luxurious feel, but yet could withstand some considerable wear and tear. We opted for mirror silver hot-foiled title text to give a wonderful premium result, coupled with anti-scuff lamination to the outer cover to provide durability and longevity. The magazine was then finished to a 260mm x 210mm format, with a silk board cover, silk text and strong PUR binding.

Pendennis – Voyage Magazine

A visually captivating piece that feels as good as it looks, this wedding venue brochure called for a charming look and unique approach. The format itself was fairly complex, with a return flap on the front cover and a pocket flap on the back cover. The design also incorporated blind-embossing across the cover and was singer-sewn and flush bound with a gold thread. A tactile and visual feast!

Enchanted Place on the Hill

A premium piece for a special historical event, this job was exciting and enjoyable to see come together. To allow the text to really stand out the client chose an uncoated cover and a silk text. This also complimented the all over pale cream CMYK tinted background, applied at 225 lines per inch. To add an extra special finish, the text was additionally high sheen sealed, to enhance the difference against the uncoated cover.

The Battle of Waterloo 200th Anniversary Programme

Decorated with gold hot-foil, this job allowed us to demonstrate some of the fine creative skills we can offer our clients to enhance their presentation. We applied spot gloss uv in register to the title text and printed on silk stock throughout. To finish, Commerce E magazine is sealed and IR dried, creating a slick professional result.

A brochure that typifies our work, bright, vibrant colour, clear, sharp images and on uncoated stock throughout. The Space for Learning brochure typifies the sort of work that Park Lane have become known for: bright, colourful, clear, sharp images on wholesome uncoated stock. Pure quality without the need for gimmicks. The finished piece is pleasing both to the eye and to the touch.

Contemporary, stylish and packed full of detail, this Esmee Fairbairn Foundation piece called for a unique and eye-catching treatment. For the cover we opted for Curious Touch Goya White, which gave an interesting and memorable rough texture. Furthermore, the text on FSC® 100% recycled uncoated stock, performed well with the heavy ink coverage.

An interesting and elegant project, the Mace annual report involved a silk cover, matt laminated to the outside and silk sealed inside. Text was uncoated, with fully bled, heavy ink coverage throughout. 60 of the 104 text pages have solid black full bleed coverage.

A bold, brave and exciting piece to work on! The choice of intense colours printed via our waterless press on 100% recycled uncoated stock, delivered an outstanding visual result. In addition, our very low dot gain also achieved exceptional image clarity, especially on the vectored imagery.

Momentum – Mott Macdonald Magazine

This vibrant keepsake piece required the reproduction of strong, indulgent colours, achieved by utilising our enriched pigment capabilities. To create even more impact, our client opted for the maximum size available on our B2 Komori presses, hence the 345mm x 245mm format.

The Paragon Year Book

This vibrant and eye-catching annual reports and accounts publication gave our six colour Komori printer its moment to shine. The Komori handled this project's CMYK demands effortlessly, with special green and blue spot colours required throughout, all sealed inline and IR dried, to prevent marking.
